'The Sanctuary of Pink Noise', Original mixed media on canvas
My work navigates and maps the interior landscapes of today's busy women.
This mixed-media piece is an unapologetic exploration of the mental load—that invisible, relentless, and often chaotic to-do list that working mothers carry. Using vibrant, layered textures and colour , I aim to translate the feeling of managing a home, a career, and a family simultaneously. The painting is intentionally busy, reflecting the constant juggling, planning, and mental noise that rarely switches off.
It is a celebration of the "hidden burden" of cognitive labor, transforming stress and multitasking into a tangible, colorful, and chaotic beauty. Each layer is a decision, each mark a fragment of time stolen, creating a visual symphony of the mental energy women devote to making the world work.
Ultimately, this piece is a sanctuary—a reflection of survival and a tribute to the strength required to carry it all.
